The mission of Ross/West View Emergency Medical Services Authority is to deliver the highest level of quality pre-hospital care, including advanced life support, basic life support, rescue, and wheelchair van services; to promote the emergency medical service system through increasing public awareness; to provide the public with lifesaving education courses; and to promote the concept of reliable pre-hospital care to the municipalities of Ross Township, West View Borough, Millvale Borough, Reserve Township, and Ohio Township.

Hello Neighbors,

Ross/West View EMSA has a long history of providing comprehensive medical and rescue services to the communities in the North Hills of Pittsburgh. 

EMS systems across the United States are struggling and going out of business. This problem has been growing for years and is coming to a breaking point across Pennsylvania and certainly in our area.  Ross/West View EMSA in partnership with our communities, have taken steps to manage this problem and assure EMS services are provided for years to come.  We have worked to develop a sustainable funding solution that assures the future operations of Ross/West View EMSA, and most importantly, the fast and dedicated delivery of services to every person that calls 911.

Ross/West View EMSA has been receiving municipal funding support since 2010.  Along with that support, we have made concessions on how we do business…
