Ross/West View EMSA has a place for you!  Like all volunteer or combination departments, Ross/West View EMSA is constantly in search of volunteers to assist in the successful delivery of public safety to the communities it serves.  While the transition from “all volunteer” to combination paid/volunteer has been smooth, the lack of volunteers has taken its toll on the Ross/West View EMSA budget.  At one point many years ago, R/WV was a predominately volunteer organization supplemented by paid staff.  Today, R/WV is predominately paid and supplemented by volunteers.

The task of the volunteer varies depending on a combination of physical ability, interest and training.  Folks who would like to and who are able to help, but have limited training, are useful in many areas including but not limited to, reception, billing, accounting, etc.  Volunteers who are trained or training to be in EMS are clearly useful in the ambulance arena.  On the Job Training is provided by our experienced EMT’s and Paramedics to provide direction to new members.
